Susan Fadil Shortlisted At Chartered Governance Institute Awards 2024

Susan Fadil, Senior Director – Fund & Corporate Services, has been shortlisted in the Champion for Governance category at the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland 2024 awards.

The awards ceremony is the largest of its kind in the UK and a highlight of the governance social calendar. Recognising excellence in governance and reporting, the awards also celebrate the work and achievements of companies, teams and individuals from across the governance profession.

Susan has over 35 years of governance experience and joined the JTC London team in 2017 to launch a new Governance Services offering, primarily to listed funds. She is a Board Member of JTC UK and is collectively responsible for the strategic direction and success of the business, together with determining the vision and mission to guide and set the pace for its current operations and future development. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland and was a member of its governing board for six years, serving as Chair of the membership committee. Both roles were voluntary and contribute to the profession of which she is a dedicated and long-standing member.

Susan previously served on the committee of a professional networking group aimed at Women Chartered Secretaries, and even though she is no longer on the committee, she continues to attend networking and CPD events to assist women starting out on their careers to develop and benefit from her experience.  She has also spoken at professional networking events about her career aimed at undergraduates and recent graduates.

The awards ceremony will take place on 5 November at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
