Launch of ‘JTC GIVES’ Empowers Employees to make Significant Community Impact

JTC has launched its new look Group-wide corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, ‘JTC Gives’, aimed at empowering employees to make a significant, structured and sustainable impact in their local communities around the world.

Bringing together JTC’s charitable donations, community sponsorships and team fundraising initiatives, JTC Gives is divided into three core elements which, combined, reflect JTC’s collective ‘stronger together’ ethos:

• JTC Impacts: the global charitable giving strand of the programme, through which JTC’s offices can nominate a charity in their local community to benefit from a £3,500 donation and commit to further fundraising for across the year.
• JTC Supports: the internal strand of the programme that supports the fundraising efforts of JTC colleagues and teams for community causes they are passionate about.
• JTC Sponsors: the community sponsorship strand of the programme, through which JTC contributes towards organisations and individuals that share JTC’s shared ownership principles.

In particular, the new JTC Gives programme focuses on clear and specific charitable and community activities focused on the three key areas of: ‘Knowledge’ (youth, education and innovation-focused charities); ‘Sustainability’ (climate, environment and ecological development); and ‘Wellbeing’ (physical and mental health, diversity, equity and inclusion).

JTC Gives builds on and enhances the Group’s previous ‘Maximising Potential’ programme, which last year saw employees across JTC’s international network of offices raise more than £100,000 for 24 charities in more than 20 locations, all focused on supporting young people.

Commenting on the new CSR programme which is integral to JTC’s sustainability framework, Wendy Holley, Chief Operating Officer at JTC, said:
