JTC Enhances US Proposition with Completion of First Republic Trust Company of Delaware Acquisition

Further to its initial announcement on 22 April 2024, following receipt of final regulatory approvals and the satisfaction of other closing conditions, global professional services business JTC has announced the completion of its acquisition of First Republic Trust Company of Delaware LLC (FRTC-DE).

The acquisition of FRTC-DE – previously a wholly owned subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase Bank – is highly complementary to JTC’s proposition. It builds on JTC’s position as the leading independent provider of trust services in the US, bringing further scale in this large, valuable and fast-growing market.

The team from FRTC-DE has now joined JTC’s Private Client Services (PCS) division and will be based in the office in Wilmington, Delaware.
