Enniscorthy-based Lawyer Named in Ireland GC Powerlist by the Legal 500

Elaine Breen, Director – Fund & Corporate Services, has been selected in The Legal 500 Ireland GC Powerlist 2025.

Elaine is Head of Legal, Risk and Compliance for INDOS Financial (Ireland) Depositary Limited (INDOS), a JTC Group Company, regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) to provide depositary services to private equity, real estate and other alternative investment funds under Regulation 22(3)(b) of Ireland’s AIFM Regulations.

The GC Powerlist highlights the very best general counsels and senior in-house legal counsels in Ireland following a comprehensive research process conducted over many months.

Elaine is a practicing Solicitor with the Law Society of Ireland. She is also a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales under the Solicitors Regulation Authority

In addition to her current role with INDOS, she was the Chair of the Board of Management for her former secondary school and is currently undertaking a Doctorate in Law

She volunteers as an assessor for the Good Governance Awards for the not-for-profit sector and has also been an active member of the judging panel for various career awards such as Early Irish Career Awards and the Global Women in Compliance Awards.
