JTC’s Tax Compliance and Regulatory Reporting Team Hosts Audit Clinics in the Cayman Islands

Over recent months, the Cayman Islands financial services industry has experienced increasing levels of AEOI (Automatic Exchange of Information) compliance activity initiated by the Department for International Tax Co-operation (DITC) to enhance the transparency of data being reported. This has created queries relating to potential reporting discrepancies and requests for information to support audits being undertaken.

Emma Menzies, Group Director and Josie Cuff, Associate Director of the Tax Compliance & Regulatory Reporting team at JTC will be visiting Cayman from the 22 to 29 January and will be hosting audit clinics during this period to support clients with the evolving compliance landscape.

The audit clinics will involve AEOI health checks, open discussions, best practices and current challenges in the AEOI landscape.
